University United Methodist Church offers a variety of ministries and programs designed to transform lives throughout adulthood.
The University UMC JOY (Just Older Youth) group offers a monthly way to connect through a planned activity and lunch. Activities include visits to museums, theater performances, gardens and presentations by speakers on topics of special interest to senior adults. These activities are typically on the second or third Thursday of each month. All are welcome! To learn more about JOY and/or add your name to the JOY contact list, please phone the church office (919 -929-7191).
Sunday School classes at University UMC provide a great opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship, and to get to know others in the church. Classes are offered at 9:50 a.m. throughout the school year. Newcomers are always welcome at any of the classes. View further details here.
