University United Methodist Church offers a variety of ministries and programs designed to transform lives throughout adulthood.
Senior Adults
The University UMC Joy Group has monthly events for fellowship, education, fun and good food. Events include visits to museums, theater performances, gardens and presentations by speakers on topics of special interest to senior adults. These events are typically on the second or third Thursday of each month except in January and February when they are after the 11:00 worship service. All are welcome! Sunday School
Sunday School classes at University UMC provide a great opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship, and to get to know others in the church. Classes are offered at 9:15 a.m. throughout the school year. Newcomers are always welcome at any of the classes. View further details here.
United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men (UMM) of University UMC is a unified, multi-generational group of Christian men for the purpose of integrating the diverse populations of men at the church.
Breakfast meetings are held on the third Saturday of every month with varying topics of discussion. For further information, contact Anthony Edwards.
United Women of Faith
United Women of Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
