In consultation with the Superintendent of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, the clergy associated with area churches and synagogues have developed a plan to provide supplemental nutrition to students affected by school closures beginning March 16 and expected to last at least three weeks.
What can you do to help?
- You can sign up here for the University UMC Lunch Bunch .
- Congregations are encouraged to establish a special fund for Food and Nutritional Supplementation, and to set an initial target of $10,500. You can give to this fund here (note CHCCS Nutrition Fund) or at the church office between the 9 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday.
