Children and Families Ministry
Children are always welcome at University UMC and are invited to take part in all aspects of worship, including communion.
On the first Sunday of each month, Wide Circle Worship will take place during the 10:30 a.m. service. Wide Circle Worship is a worship experience with a special focus on children. This service intentionally prioritizes active engagement, including physical movement, audio/visual learning styles, deliberate interaction between leadership and the congregation. Wide Circle Worship invites us all to celebrate our faith tradition by making worship feel relevant, accessible, and inclusive.
Childcare is available for infants through kindergarten during the worship service on the ground floor of the Education Wing. Paid childcare workers and parent volunteers care for children in a safe sanctuary environment.
