Give the gift of hope! Give your loved ones beautiful Alternative Gift Christmas Cards that represent a donation to one of our mission partners: Communiversity, Habitat for Humanity, IFC, Medical Debt Relief, TABLE and Zoe Empowers. The Christmas Cards are available now through January 7, 2024, when University UMC celebrates Epiphany.
You may pick up our beautiful Alternative Gift Christmas cards from the table in Narthex, the Parlor and the hallway before and after the service. When the church is open, you may get cards in the Parlor and at the information station.
Take as many cards as you need!
Regardless of how you chose to donate, please make your donations in increments of $10 because it will make bookkeeping easier. There is no fee with checks or cash.
Three Ways to Donate:
- In Person: Every Sunday during Alternative Gifts, a member of the Missions Committee will be available in the Parlor to accept donations and provide more information about the various missions and ministries. They can accept your check or help you donate by credit card.
- Online: Click here to donate. Payment can be made by credit card during the donation process, or you can complete the donation process online and turn in your check at church or mail it to the church office (150 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill, NC 27514).
- To the Organization Directly: For Communiversity, Habitat for Humanity, IFC, TABLE and ZOE Empowers, or any other external ministry, you may make your donation directly by going to their website or by writing them a check. Please put University United Methodist in the note section of their donation page or in the memo line on your check so the organization knows that our church is supporting them.
