Boy Scout Troop 39 (Boys in grades 6-12) was organized in 1912 and is sponsored by University UMC. The Troop meets weekly each Wednesday in the church’s Fellowship Hall, and has monthly camping trips.
Cub Scout Pack 39 (Boys in grades 1-5) was organized in 1999 and is sponsored by University UMC. The group has monthly pack meetings in the church’s Fellowship Hall and bi-weekly den meetings in various locations. Additionally, members participate in regular community service, build and race cars in the Pinewood Derby, and go camping twice each semester.
Venture Crew 39 (ages 14-20) is a co-ed organization with an emphasis on leadership and outdoor adventure.
