Position Description
The PCA provides administrative support for Program staff, oversees the weekly production of communication projects and provides a central point of contact for marketing, social media and website content to contract vendors. In addition, the PCA manages office volunteers and provides general administrative support to facilitate day-to-day operations.
Essential Functions
- Programs
- Support Children’s, Youth, and Worship programming
- Coordinate the production of flyers, postcards, signs and other materials
- Coordinate the production of weekly Program, Mission and Outreach emails
- Schedule large events, mission trips, and retreats
- Create, maintain, and organize forms for Mission, Ministry and Outreach Programs (example: background screening, childcare training, CPR, etc.)
- Print Sunday school attendance sheets and manage the attendance tracking for Program areas
- Communications
- Coordinate the production of Sunday bulletins, funeral bulletins and special event programs
- Coordinate weekly emails (Constant Contacts) for Church highlighted events, Missions, Ministries, Outreach and Programs.
- Point of contact for special Church announcements – Death announcements, church closings, or other special announcements
- Oversee production and preparation of church bulk mailings and newsletters
- Create or work with vendors to obtain graphics across all communications formats
- Office Duties
- Maintain the Office Volunteer Schedule
- Develop, maintain and integrate office volunteers
- Answer telephones when volunteer not available
- Create name tags
- Receive office supplies when necessary
- Help manage and maintain office equipment (refill/replace postage, toner, etc.)
- Assist Minister of Administration with requests to use church facilities, equipment and vehicles

Minimum Qualifications
Physical Requirements
Physically able to perform basic office type functions to include: sitting at a desk for much of the day; operating computer equipment; greeting visitors; answering telephones; and stocking office supplies.
Core Competencies
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Constant Contacts, Microsoft Office, ACS/Realm database, typing skills, word-processor skills, telephone experience, file maintenance, scheduling, organization experience, handling confidential information, professing to Christian beliefs and ability to initiate and anticipate the needs of the program staff.

Understands the role of scheduling and interacting with volunteers working daily in the church office and maintaining relationships with various contract vendors in the areas of communications, graphics, marketing, social media and website content.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines across different program areas.
