March 24: Palm Sunday Worship – 10:30 a.m.
March 28: Maundy Thursday Worship – 7 p.m.
During this service, we will commemorate the Last Supper by observing Holy Communion.
March 29: Good Friday
Meditative Walk in Duke Gardens – 1:30 p.m.
Join Pastor Denise for a meditative walk through Duke Gardens. A brief introduction to the gardens and a reflection guide will be provided. Meet at Amity UMC on Estes Drive at 1:15 p.m. to ride the bus or meet us at the garden entry gate by 1:45 p.m. Registration is required. Click here to register.
Good Friday Worship – 7 p.m.
During this special musical service, we will meditate on the Seven Last Words while praying for those throughout the world who have suffered or continue to suffer injustice and isolation.
March 31: Easter Sunday Worship
6:30 a.m. – Sunrise in Courtyard
8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
The 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. services will be identical with jubilant music led by the Chancel Choir, along with a string quartet, solo vocal selection, and closing with the singing of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.
This year’s Easter offering will go towards our three year $50,000 goal for the community center at Habitat for Humanity’s Weavers Grove housing development.
On Easter Sunday, children and families are invited to join in a celebratory egg hunt on the church grounds after the 8:30 & 10:30 a.m. worship services.
All are invited to bring flowers from home to decorate the cross outside the church on Easter Sunday.
