North Carolina Conference the United Methodist Church

The NC Conference, led by Bishop Hope Morgan Ward, encompasses 56 counties in eastern North Carolina, from Elon to the coast, and from the South Carolina border to the Virginia border. Membership in the NC Conference is approximately 230,000 persons worshiping in 808 churches within eight districts in eastern North Carolina. The conference often offers learning opportunities at the Conference building in Garner, NC, and at area churches.

Friends of Christ School for Christian Spirituality (FCSCS)

University UMC is a supporting congregation of the FCSCS is an ecumenical school for spiritual seekers who want to explore a deeper relationship with God within an open, inviting community.  Its purpose is to contribute to the spiritual formation and transformation of participants and to supplement what is already offered within their own faith communities.

Academy for Leadership Excellence (AFLE)
