Vivida Banda Concert

The award-winning youth choir, Vivida Banda (“Rasselbunde” in German, or “A Gang of Rascals”) from St. Peters Church in Weinheim, Germany, will begin their U.S. tour this summer with a concert at University UMC in Chapel Hill. They, along with the University UMC Youth Choir, will present a varied program of music of Germany, England, and the United States, from Schubert to Josh Groban.
Vivida Banda is the most advanced choir of the St. Peters Church Singschule (song school). Children begin singing with the Singschule from the age of 1 and continue through the age of 21 in a graded choral program. They sing music of all epochs and genres. All are welcome to attend: Saturday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
If you cannot make it Saturday, the two groups will be singing the National Anthem at the Durham Bulls game on Sunday, July 28 at 5:00 p.m. Come out in support of youth choir!
