Annual Church Picnic

Annual Church Picnic: Immediately following the one 10:30 a.m. worship service, bring a blanket and come enjoy food, fellowship and lots of fun at the annual church picnic. This year’s picnic will celebrate the church’s 175th anniversary and feature a delicious spread from Sutton’s: hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, club and veggie wraps, chips, cole slaw, and baked beans. Children’s games in the Courtyard, the world famous Chapel Cake Walk, and local acoustic band The Guilty Pleasures will all offer entertainment.
Tickets are $7/person with a family max of $25. Purchase tickets in advance via the Give tab on universityumc.church, or by texting UniversityUMC to 73256 and choosing Family Ministry/Picnic from the dropdown. Tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the picnic.
We will be celebrating our graduating seniors in worship that morning. Visit them at the Graduating Seniors table at the picnic to offer advice and sign their Bibles.
Cakes Needed for Picnic Cake Walk: Would you be willing to donate a cake, pie, cookies or cupcakes for our cake walk at the church picnic on June 3? If so, please sign up here or contact Melissa Miller. You can bring your donation the morning of the picnic and leave it in the Chapel.
